GGS HR ensures that applicants for the positions are assessed according to the following criteria:
- Completing a GGS job application form
- Submitting a CV with all relevant licences and certificates
- Submitting Australian citizenship, permanent residency or work permits and sometimes a doctor certificate confirming the applicant is physically and mentally fit to perform the security duty.
- Background and reference check
- Licence validity check.
- GGS Risk manager, Security Operations manager will conduct an interview to assess the applicant knowledge, skills, customer service, risk management, communication skills and presentation.
- General SOP’s, WHS, security code of conduct, risk management reporting, identification and control.
- General security operations procedures.
- Previous experience in relevant position applied for.
- Compatibility with and understanding of the Security Services culture.
- Conflict management.
